Makino Satomi is employed at the welfare office of the municipal government where she is acting as a law officer. This is not what she had in mind and, as such, is quite apprehensive. A friend with experience support and exhorts her. Unfortunately, the same colleague is soon the victim of foul play. As if that was not bad enough Makino is finding twists and turns await her as she grows closer and closer to the true meaning of her job.
